The SCA’s Summer Dance Camp is a week of exciting dance for young people thinking about pursuing dance in a university setting. The camp is designed for youth in grades 10 through 12 who have previous movement experience but who are looking for something more and new.

The week will include instruction on improvisation, technique, choreography, repertory, and drumming, and will culminate in a final invited showing during the last afternoon of the camp.

The camp is also a unique opportunity for potential students to be introduced to faculty and current students from the Dance Program at SFU's School for the Contemporary Arts.

Teachers and mentors include: Henry Daniel, Marla Eist, Judith Garay, Rob Kitsos, Cheryl Prophet, and Ron Stelting, plus senior dance students currently in or recently graduated from the SCA’s Dance Program.
