Her current local projects include a screening of her 2016 video Barnacle City from April 13 – May 10, 2020, as part of a series of screenings of twelve videos commissioned by the City of Vancouver's Public Art Program for the outdoor screens at the NE corner of Robson and Granville Streets. She is also the artist-in-residence at SFU's Surrey campus' amazing, new School of Sustainable Energy Engineering building, working with SCA MFA alumni Roxanne Charles (Semiahmoo First Nation) and Ethiopian filmmaker Daniel Negatu on a permanent, process-based, and site-specific new work. And her work WANDER: Toward a Lightness of Being, created in collaboration with UBC’s Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences (EOAS) and is commissioned by TransLink, is part of the rejuvenation of the 22nd Street Skytrain Station Bus Exchange in New Westminster.
