Oceanic Plaza Public Art Collaboration

SCA students from CA 161 (Introductory Studio in Visual Art II), lead by Alex Tedlie-Stursberg, worked with the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association, Oxford Properties, and SFU Vancouver on a set of 'wrappers' for eight concrete planters at the Oceanic Plaza in downtown Vancouver at 1066 West Hastings Street. As the DVBIA describe the project, this "public art collaboration provides a high profile opportunity for local art students to showcase their work to the public." Even better, the DVBIA tell us that the Oceanic Plaza Public Art Collaboration "will remain up for the foreseeable future for all to enjoy."
