The flagship SFU Burnaby campus was established in 1965 and has expanded considerably to accommodate steady enrollment and new technologies.
The SFU Surrey campus was built in 2002 to meet the demands of the growing population in the Fraser Valley. While most academic programs are offered at the Burnaby campus, the Surrey campus offers courses in Mathematics, Operations Research and Data Science.

Burnaby Campus Tours
Burnaby Campus tours include a look at the Student Services building, the library, residences, the gyms, and classrooms and are offered twice daily, Monday to Saturday.
For schools or prospective students and their parents who would like a guided tour of the Faculty of Science, please call 778-782-4590.
Surrey Campus Tours
SFU Surrey offers student-led campus tours to prospective students and their families. Drop in tours do not require an appointment and are available every Thursday afternoon at 4:00 PM. Please report to the Registrar and Information Services desk in the WestStone Group Grand Hall (Mezzanine level) of SFU Surrey before 4:00pm.
