Chamber Operator

Course Objective:
After completing this course, successful students be certified as Hyperbaric Chamber Operators as described in section 22 of the Canadian Standards Association's Competency Standard for Diving Operations (Z275.4). Successful students will be certified as a Chamber Operator from the Divers Certification Board of Canada (DCBC). 

Eligibility for Hyperbaric Medical Technologist Certification:
Successful students will be eligible for HMT certification if they have previous certification in fundamental or clinical hyperbarics, or by issuing a PLAR of previous work in a clinical hyperbaric facility. They will recieve certification as both an HMT and as a Clinical Hyperbaric Chamber Operator from the DCBC

Who Should Attend:
This one week course is appropriate for people in the above position, or who need training in hyperbaric operation in a commercial setting.
