Welcome to the Simon Fraser University Faculty of Science Safety Web Site! The Faculty of Science consists of eight departments and various ancillary service units. We all have an interest in maintaining safe working conditions and practices whether we are in a Chemistry research laboratory, a faculty office, a teaching classroom or a machine shop. The information in this site is designed to help any SFU community member access the resources to help maintain a safe working and learning environment. If you have any concerns or suggestions please don't hesitate to contact one of the committee members. Safety Committee Safety Commitee meetings are the last Thursday of every month. If you have any safety concerns, please contact one of the Committee members so that they can bring them to the meeting.Remember that safety is everyone's responsibility!
