The Surrey Ad Hoc Steering Committee began meeting in Summer, 2003. Reporting to the Senate Committee on University Priorities (SCUP), the Committee is responsible for coordinating the implementation of the recommendations of the Surrey Long Term Planning Committee and the academic program activities at the Surrey campus.

The Surrey Ad Hoc Steering Committee is chaired by Dr. Bill Krane, Associate Vice-President, Academic and meets on a monthly basis.
