LOCKSMITH SERVICES

SFU Burnaby manages its mechanical access control devices internally through Campus Security Locksmiths. This dynamic team of three skilled tradespeople are dispatched to respond to lock deficiencies and malfunctions, changes and upgrades to existing lock hardware and planning and installation of lock systems for new buildings on campus.

To Request Locksmith Services:

1. Complete a Campus Security Work Order form including contact person and account information.

Give details of work requested, including door and building involved.

Ensure that the form is authorized by the departmental signing authority.

2. Mail, fax (extension 25386) or hand deliver the Work Order to Campus Security Access Control office, WMC 3101.

The locksmith foreman schedules work based on urgency.
