Vincenzo Pecunia joined SEE in December 2021 as an Associate Professor. He has an expertise in the development of sustainable materials for solar cells and electronics. Pecunia desires to enable the ubiquitous deployment of solar cells for green energy production and address the urgent issue of e-waste associated with conventional electronics.

“I am looking forward to making our SEE students passionate about solar energy and eco-friendly materials for next-generation solar cells and green electronics. I am also looking forward to developing cross-cutting research initiatives with colleagues, investigating other areas of sustainable energy engineering, as well as catalyzing collaborative efforts with industry and the local community regarding solar energy and green electronics.”
