SFU students are eligible to win $5000 dollars by entering an essay contest! The 2010 Dalton Camp Award offers two $5000 dollar prizes to for an original 2000 word essay on the link between democratic values and the media in Canada.
The essays must be in English, follow the Chicago Manual of Style or MLA Handbook, and be submitted in double-spaced Word format. Entries must include a title page with the name of the essay and the full name of the author, and the subsequent essay pages must be numbered.
Send your entries as an email attachment to email@example.com; include your full name and contact information (address, email and phone number) with a biographical sketch of no more than 50 words. Include a word count of your essay and written confirmation that you have complied with the rules. All entries must be in by 8 pm EDT on March 15, 2010. Entrants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents and you can only submit one entry, so make it a good one!
