TechBytes Opportunities

techbyteThe TechBytes Program offers peer tutoring and support to students in Interactive Arts and they are currently looking for experienced design, media or informatics students with strong online portfolio’s to become Technical Peer Educators for the spring term.

Technical Peer Educators receive a $500 honorarium for 50 hours of work during the 13-week semester.  Applicants are expected to attend weekly meetings and are responsible for tasks that contribute to the success of the technical peer educators program.  You must also be available on Wednesdays between 12:30 and 2:30 pm.

There is also a need for peer mentors.  Though there is no honorarium offered to mentors there are other incentives and opportunities for personal and professional development.
