Org Profile: World Partnership Walk, Aga Khan Foundation Canada

The World Partnership Walk, in support of Aga Khan Foundation Canada, is Canada’s largest annual event dedicated to increasing awareness and raising funds to fight global poverty. University students can support this cause by leading awareness and fundraising campaigns on campus as Community Liaisons.

This year, the World Partnership Walk is seeking to expand its reach. We are looking for two Liaisons each from SFU, UBC, Capilano University and Douglas College. The role of the Community Liaison will be to initiate awareness and fundraising efforts within their respective post-secondary institutions. They will be responsible for approaching interested groups, raising campus awareness and putting on at least one event.
