Share your volunteer experiences on July 6th and receive a $20 gift card!

Vantage Point is collaborating with Volunteer Canada and the Centre for Voluntary Sector Research and Development on a national research project.  Their goal is to better understand the volunteering experience and the wishes of Canadian volunteers and potential volunteers.  Theyare particularly interested in learning about volunteer’s levels of satisfaction and other observations and insights around their volunteer experiences.  

 

We want your input!  To qualify, you must be a current volunteer and fall into one of the following two groups: “family volunteers” (volunteers who serve with their families) or “youth volunteers” (volunteers aged 15-24).

What: Share your volunteer experience in a 90 minute focus group
Where: Vantage Point’s office, located at 1183 Melville Street in downtown Vancouver
When:  Tuesday, July 6, 2010

10:00am – family volunteers

1:00pm – youth volunteers
Why: Your participation will strengthen the voluntary and not-for-profit sector.  Specifically, it will allow us to better understand today’s active and potential volunteers, develop specific strategies to involve youth, families, boomers, and corporate volunteers, and enable organizations to effectively involve today’s volunteers.

As a token of our appreciation only, participants will receive a $20 gift card.
