Have a Blast while Volunteering at the Caribbean Days Festival

Hey SFU students, are you looking for a fun and unique volunteer opportunity?  If so, the Caribbean Days Festival would be the perfect fit.  This festival is presented by the Trinidad & Tobago Cultural Society of BC and takes place on July 24 and 25 at Waterfront Park in North Vancouver.  It is a celebration of Caribbean culture that includes a fun-filled weekend of parades, dining and dancing to the tropical rhythms of the Caribbean that we all love.  This event is very big and requires a lot of volunteers to help make it a success.

Volunteers are needed in all the various aspects of this festival.  From helping out at the booths to overseeing the parade and assisting in the main stage area, where all the musical guests will be, there is something for everyone.  This is a wonderful way to learn about different cultures, interact with great people and have a blast at the same time.   In return for volunteering you get a t-shirt along with a small meal.  So, if you want to be a part of the largest single-weekend cultural event in BC, view all available positions and fill out an application form at http://www.caribbeandays.ca/apply/volunteering.
