Bowl for Santa and Help Raise Funds for the Surrey Christmas Bureau

Bowling for Claus, a fundraising event benefiting over 1900 low-income families, is happening on October 14th at Dell Lanes, 10576 King George Boulevard in Surrey, from 6pm to 10pm. Everyone is encouraged to participate to this fun event; funds help support the Surrey Christmas Bureau (SCB).

Tickets are only $20 dollars each and include 3 hours of lazer bowling, shoe rental, a large pizza and a pitcher of beer or pop per lane. Each lane holds six people. Bring your whole family, your office or your neighbourhood ‐ you can buy a whole lane for $100 dollars and the 6th person is free! Besides bowling there will be a toonie toss, gift raffles, a 50/50 draw and something special for the kids. Gifts include a pair of Canucks tickets, a jersey, a $150 dollar worth gift basket and more.

So come out, have fun, and support a great cause! Get in the Christmas spirit of giving early this year. For tickets to Bowling for Claus, contact Konch Bashki at 604. 581.9623 or

The SCB is the largest and busiest Christmas Bureau in British Columbia, serving over 1,900 Surrey families and 5,000 children in 2009. For 40 years, the SCB has been helping low-income families, and children under the age of 15, celebrate Christmas through Christmas Hamper and Adopt-A-Family programs.
