February 12, 2011 is the date to mark on your calendar for the Diversity Health Fair hosted by the Affiliation of Multicultural Societies and Service Agencies of BC (AMSSA). AMSSA is an association of more than 75 agencies that provide services for immigrants to help them integrate into the B.C. community. They assist newcomers with developing professional skills, networking opportunities, and information resources. The organizations promote diversity, multiculturalism, multicultural health and human rights.
This fair aims to decrease cultural and language barriers that new Canadians face when accessing important health care services and resources.
This year’s theme will be Promoting Physical and Emotional Well-Being. It will be held: Saturday, February 12th, 2011
10am to 3pm at the Croatian Cultural Centre on Commercial Dr
