SFU’s Relay for Life

SFU has teamed up once again with the Canadian Cancer Society for its annual Relay for Life!

Taking place March 25-26th, 2011 from 7pm – 7am, this year’s relay will be a continuation of the always-successful fight to end breast cancer.

Each relay participant commits to raising a minimum of $100 for the challenge and is reminded to have fun! This event is non-competitive and is intended to help each partake celebrate, remember and fight back!

Team SFU is well on it’s way to making a big difference in the lives of cancer patients – we’ve raised nearly $3500.00! In order to make a donation, please visit this website where you can support Team SFU: http://www.relaybc.ca/faf/home/ccp.asp?ievent=439284&ccp=103698

The money raised is put towards cancer research, cancer information and support programs.

And don’t forget, although the word “relay” is in the title, it doesn’t involve any strenuous activity. Participants merely walk laps around the track ensuring that one member of each team is on the track at all times. Please register here!
