Walk Around the World

Join your fellow SFU students and colleagues in this healthy adventure!

You can virtually travel the world by foot! SFU’s 7 Weeks to Wellness is an online, interactive physical activity tracking and wellness program developed by SFU Health and Counseling Services. It’s the perfect way to keep a healthy habit.

7 Weeks to Wellness ends March 11, but you can always join ongoing challenges and be entered to win many prizes.

STEP BY STEP: Around the World in 90 Days! Challenge is an ongoing Challenge that lets you join a team or go solo around the world (virtually).

The goal is to keep track of the steps you take each day, or the amount of physical activity you do, and these will get added up taking you to places like Greece, China, and back again to Vancouver.

Anna Tse, the Team leader of the “Hawt Steppers” Team and organizer of this challenge, created this event to keep an “active/healthy lifestyle by balancing work, school and exercise”.

Health and Counselling Services provide plenty of resources and events for achieving a balance in your lifestyle. If you don’t know where to start you can always check out SFU’s Wellness Wheel, an interactive quiz that will provide you with an idea on the areas you need to work on.

In case you want to get more involved and want to help others achieve a better lifestyle become a Peer Educator. Peer educators are a group of students who give back to the SFU community in many ways! Because volunteering is a healthy habit as well.
