Feeling Hungry? Get Inspired. Get Involved.

Between April 29 and April 30, World Vision will be hosting a national 30hr Famine to help stop hunger in its tracks. The 30Hr Famine is the largest youth fundraising event in Canada!

This can be the generation that eradicates hunger from the world!

For 30hrs straight, groups of students around Canada will fast and come face-to-face with the reality of hunger and poverty.

The goal of The 30Hr Famine is to raise funds for children around the world who experience poverty and hunger first-hand. All funds raised will go to World Vision, or you can choose one of six countries to designate your funds to, countries such as Haiti, Honduras, Mali, Philippines, Tanzania, or Zambia.

You can join a group or form your own group to participate in fun activities that will help you raise money as well as engage in your community.

Every $30 you raise will help feed and provide care for a child for an entire month!

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, their families, and their communities to tackle poverty and injustice. After 60 years, World Vision continues to provide emergency aid in disaster-struck countries, forming partnerships with communities to overcome poverty and to help raise our voices on behalf of the poor.

Learn more about the Famine, how you can get involved, and about the cool rewards waiting for you for your fundraising effort! Three groups will be randomly selected from those that have fundraised more than $5000 before May 15th, 2011 for the Trip of a Lifetime to Africa to witness the development funded by the 30hr Famine.

Keep your hunger for Life!
