This year, Projecting Change is giving individuals, non-profits, and businesses a chance to win prizes and get their videos shown. The process is simple: Make a short video (60 seconds or less) telling the world how you’re projecting change and submit it by May 7. From May 8 to 15, Projecting Change will open the polls on its website where people can vote for their favourite video.
The fabulous prizes include $1,000 and 2 Full Festival Passes, so encourage your friends and networks to vote once the polls open. Of course, the winning video will also be shown at Projecting Change Film Festival. Non-winning entries will be mashed up to create one awesome video showing how Vancouver is projecting change.
For more information, please see the Facebook note about the contest. The Projecting Change website will also be up shortly. You can always get timely updates by following the film festival on Twitter. This year, the annual festival takes place May 26 – 29 at SFU Woodwards.
If you’re someone who projects change, this is a great opportunity to showcase your efforts and also possibly win some awesome prizes. Start planning today – and submit your entries soon.
