April Is Daffodil Month

I WANDER’D lonely as a cloud

That floats on high o’er vales and hills,

When all at once I saw a crowd,

A host, of golden daffodils;

Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

-Excerpt “Daffodils” (1804), William Wordsworth

-Add a daffodil to your Facebook or Twitter page.

- Wear a pin. You can get one at one of the many businesses supporting the cause.

-Volunteer with Canadian Cancer Society. Help fundraise, promote healthy living, organize and support, and more!

- Plan or Join your own event. Be creative and show off your fundraising skills!

Do you remember SFU’s Relay for Life in March? Donations raised for this event totaled a whopping $37,406! Let’s see what SFU can do in April!

The fight against cancer doesn’t end on April 30th. The best way you can fight back is by getting informed. Learn about cancer and the cancer support services in your region.
