Brace yourselves for an uplifting and touching event!

Reel Causes is proud to present the screening for Voces Inocentes (Innocent Voices) this June 23rd at VIFF’s Vancity Theatre, 7pm.

Voces Inocentes is the story about a young boy, Chava, living in El Salvador during the civil war. He is torn from the innocent life of a boy and thrown into the chaos of war.

Tickets are $11, VIFC membership is required ($2 at the door) and all proceeds will be directed to the Project Somos.

REEL Causes organizes social film screening events for the benefit of a different cause each month. These events highlight issues that require community attention and action; they are intended to be educational and inspiring.

This screening will benefit Project Somos, an organization dedicated to establishing an eco-sustainable village for abandoned and orphaned children in Guatemala.

Project Somos is collaborating with Seres Centre to promote best practice sustainability learning and leadership throughout Guatemala.
