It’s Clubs’ Days Time Again!

It’s that time of the year … to get involved!

This semester’s Clubs’ Days at Burnaby will take place on September 13-15 and Surrey Clubs’ Days will take place September 21-22.

These 10am-4pm events run every semester to give students a chance to get connected with the campus community by choosing from the many different clubs.

From the “Accounting Student Association” to the “Life Drawing Club (Carbon Cartel)” and even my very own UNICEF club, the choices are endless!

I can tell you from my very own experience being the Vice President of SFU UNICEF that being engaged in a club, whether long term or short, is a very rewarding experience as it not only grants you an outlet to express yourself but it also gives you a chance to discover (or even rediscover) what you really like to do in the future. Treat it as a way to redefine yourself with new discoveries, new skills and new friends as well as fortifying old networks, old abilities and old acquaintances.

Ever wonder if you would like to do origami? Why don’t you give it a try?
