End hunger and save the planet!

Want to help end hunger and reduce waste at the same time? This is exactly what Quest Food Exchange is all about! Ever since 1990, Quest Food Exchange has been collecting and redistributing non-marketable food to those in need, helping individuals and communities and protecting the environment.

You may be asking: “how does Quest Food Exchange save the environment?” Well, by distributing the food that would have otherwise gone to the landfill, Quest helps reduce over 3,000 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide while feeding the homeless and hungry.

If you want to help out with these causes, become a volunteer at Quest Food Exchange! Not only will you be contributing back to your community and gaining useful skills and experiences, you will have the opportunity to meet and network with people interested in the same causes as you! Quest Food Exchange also customizes your volunteer position to meet your own learning objectives so you can practically apply your learned skills or learn a new skill.

Specialized positions include opportunities in web and graphic design, public relations and communication and information technology. If you are interested in helping out with Quest’s warehouses and kitchens, you can volunteer your time sorting, preparing and cooking food or assist with warehouse management, just to name a few.

Maximize your time and energy meaningfully and positively by volunteering with Quest Food Exchange! View the current volunteer opportunity on Symplicity or contact Geneva at gbokowski@questoutreach.org and start making a difference socially and environmentally!
