If you do, you will want to mark down the 3rd Annual Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) University meeting in your calendar! Don’t know what CGI U meeting is? Read on to find out more and about how you can get involved and help make a positive social change in the global community!

The CGI U was launched two years ago to bring together the next-generation of leaders from universities and colleges around the world. At this meeting, students, university presidents and organizations come together to share their ideas and action plans and implement them; areas of discussion include: Education, Environment & Climate Change, Peace & Human Rights, Poverty Alleviation, and Public Health.

Not only will students get to collaborate and learn from other student participants who are making positive changes, they will also have the opportunity to hear from celebrities, experts and NGO leaders talk about their as well. Past panelist speakers included President Bill Clinton, Natalie Portman, Matthew McConaughey, just to name a few. The third annual CGI U Meeting will be held at the University of Miami from April 16-18, 2010.
