Learn about Muslim culture in London, England, July 20–31, during a two-week program co-sponsored by SFU’s Centre for the Comparative Study of Muslim Societies and Cultures. Entitled Expressions of Diversity, A Contemporary Introduction to Muslim Cultures, the program is being hosted by the Aga Khan University Institute for the Study of Muslim Civilisations. International scholars including four SFU professors will address Muslim history, culture and contemporary challenges. The course includes classroom instruction and discussion, film screenings and walking tours to explore cultural sites and museums.
