If you missed famed geneticist and environmentalist David Suzuki’s keynote address May 13 at the SFU-hosted First Year in Focus conference, you can still watch his one-hour talk online on the SFU News YouTube channel at at.sfu.ca/YxregR. The SFU News channel, located at www.youtube.com/sfunews, offers videos related to campus news, events and university research, as well as lectures and general information about the university’s campuses and programs. During his one-hour address entitled Education for a Changing Biosphere: Ecology and Economics, Suzuki explores both misconceptions and fundamental truths surrounding the reconciliation of ecology and economics.
