Sue Porter brings strong leadership experience in event management to her new role as SFU’s associate director of ceremonies and events. Prior to SFU, she was executive director of the Greater Vancouver Professional Theatre Alliance for three years, managing conferences and fundraising initiatives. Before that, among other positions, she managed the stewardship of corporate donors and sponsors for the Playhouse Theatre and the Vancouver International Wine Festival.
