Beginning in the fall semester, the Faculty of Environment is embarking on a new environmental science program that will offer four areas of concentration: applied biology, environmental earth systems, environmetrics, and a new concentration, water science. Program director Leah Bendell says students will benefit from a solid science foundation in each concentration. She also notes that the program uses a cohort model in which students progress together through the courses. “This model creates a strong united student body that will enhance learning and social interactions,” she says.
