The website studentaffairs.com, says SFU is the No. 1 social-media influencer amongst Canadian post-secondary schools. Results were based on its research of Klout scores of the schools’ Twitter accounts. Klout is a service that measures overall online influence using a scale of 1-100 on a daily basis. SFU’s Klout score is 55.83, followed by the University of Calgary (50.53), Western (49.93), McGill (49.12), and the University of Alberta (48.58). When compared to Klout scores of U.S. universities, SFU ranked seventh overall in North America with Stanford University in top spot.
