Troublemaker wanted
Know someone whose ideas challenge conventional thinking and shake up the status quo? Why not nominate them for SFU’s Nora and Ted Sterling prize in support of controversy? The award is presented annually to someone whose work presents novel ways of looking at the world that are daring and creative and, well, controversial. The award is open to faculty, staff, students and community members with a connection to SFU. The winner receives a $5,000 cash award and makes a public presentation at the Morris J Wosk Centre for Dialogue. The deadline for nominations is Jan. 31. For more info and a nomination form visit www.sfu.ca/sterlingprize/.
