Eleven members of the SFU Clan women’s wrestling earned All-American honours after finishing in the top eight of their weight class Jan. 28 at the Women’s Collegiate Wrestling Association nationals in Bristol, Tenn. Justina DiStasio led the Clan with a gold medal in the 170-lb. division. Daphne Hodgson placed second at 101 lbs. and Tessa Ma finished third at 109 lbs., as did Laura Wilson at 123 lbs. and Hillary Greening at 191 lbs. Michiko Araki was sixth at 101 lbs., while Chloe Ivanoff and Laura Gordon both placed fifth at 116 and 130 lbs., respectively. Bailley Halvorson and Sidney Morrison finished seventh at 136 lbs. and 143 lbs., respectively, and Jenna McLatchy was fifth at 155 lbs.
