Kyle Empringham, a first-year master’s candidate in the School of Resource and Environmental Management, has been selected as one of the world’s Top 10 environmental bloggers in a United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) competition. He’ll now compete against the finalists in a blog-off, in which the public must vote for the best blogger. The prize? A trip to Brazil for World Environment Day June 5th. Empringham is a frequent blogger on www.thestarfish2010.com, a website he co-founded because he wanted a forum for discussing environmental issues that aren’t always featured in mainstream media. Vote here on his UNEP competition blog post.
