SFU & UBC host Golden Key summit
The SFU and UBC chapters of the Golden Key International Honours Society are hosting the 2012 Golden Key Canadian Regional Summit Feb. 3–5 at SFU’s Morris J Wosk Centre for Dialogue in Vancouver.
The summit will host workshops and interactive sessions on various topics with 14 panelists from diverse backgrounds including scientific research, social media and public relations, business, community involvement and technology.
Golden Key is the world’s largest collegiate honour society with more than 400 chapters at colleges and universities in eight countries. It has recognized more than 10 million undergraduate and graduate students for their intellectual achievements and awarded $8 million in scholarships and awards.
The summit’s keynote speaker is UBC alumnus Brian Wong, rated by the tech news site Mashable.com as one of the “Top 5 Young Entrepreneurs to Watch”. Member registration and summit details: gkcancon.com. Society information: goldenkey.org.
