  • For the third year in a row, a group of students from Surrey's Princess Margaret Secondary will be heading to Houston, Texas where they will compete in a world-renowned science program hosted by NASA and Boeing. They will be led by SFU student and Princess Margaret alumn Bhupinder Rathore.

PHYSICS CONFERENCE – CBC

  • Keynote speaker Shohini Ghose at the Women in Physics Canada conference at SFU was featured on CBC’s On the Coast discussing the prospect of Albert Einstein being a woman in the early 1900s.

STUDENT GRADE RECORDS – OTTAWA CITIZEN

  • SFU was briefly mentioned in an article regarding the Ottawa Citizen winning the fight for student grade records from Carleton University.

STUDENT AWARD – MARKETWIRED

  • SFU student Alexandra Loweis one of four outstanding students awarded with the Student Communicator of the Year Awards by the International Association of Business Communicators’ BC Chapter.
