Don’t miss the popular Smackdown Faculty debate on Thursday, Nov. 6, 12:30 p.m.–1:30 p.m. at the Burnaby campus as 12 Simon Fraser University professors heatedly debate nonsensical topics to kick off SFU’s United Way fundraising campaign in November.

The debaters, nominated by students for their sense of humour and ability to talk about anything, are: Derek “Extreme Outlier” Bingham, Paul “Bam Bam” Budra, Daniel “Bring It” Dunford, John-Henry “Hardline” Harter, Andrew “How-Do-You-Say” Hawryschkewich, Jonathan “Resolute” Jedwab, John “Judoka” Jones, Hilary “O Rly” Morden, Pablo “The Doubter” Nepomnaschy, Krishna “I am Groot” Pendakur, Evan “Ad Absurdum” Tiffany and Richard “Big Boy” Ward.

Purchase your tickets ($5 students, $10 staff/faculty) in advance on Nov. 3 and 4 from 10:30–3:30 at Student Central. All proceeds go to the United Way of the Lower Mainland.

Doors open at 12:15 at the SFU Theatre, Burnaby campus.
