President’s Dream Colloquium: social entrepreneurship
What does it mean to be a social entrepreneur? And how can you get involved?
Find out at the next President’s Dream Colloquium lecture What Makes Social Entrepreneurship Social? on Friday, March 7, 3:00-4:30 pm, AQ 3182, Burnaby campus.
Accomplished social entrepreneur Jonathan Lewis, founder of Café Impact, Opportunity Collaboration, and MicroCredit Enterprises, will talk about “leading an honourable life in a dishonourable world.”
Who should attend?
“People who have a sense that the world is not a fair place, and that your opportunities are determined more by your place of birth than the quality of your character, intellect and hard work,” says Lewis. “People who are thinking, “I want to do something about this.”
The lecture is free, but seating is limited. To register: http://at.sfu.ca/SipWyM.
