Mark Winston’s Bee Time: Lessons from the Hive, 2015 Governor General Literary Award for Nonfiction winner, is the culmination of nearly four decades of researching nature’s unassuming yet indispensible workhorse: the honeybee.

In the book, we find the SFU biological sciences professor reflecting on the awe-inspiring wisdom he has gleaned from the highly social insect, from the importance of communication and collaboration, to insights on designing more sustainable workplaces and cities.
