After originally signing a contract with the New York Giants in the fall, Rysen John is once again back with the club after rehabbing a hamstring injury. The six-foot-seven, 250-pound wide receiver/tight end might get an opportunity with the team by the end of the season, as they are currently fourth in the NFC east with a 1-6 record.

John burst onto the draft scene with a remarkable senior season in which he led the GNAC in receptions (55), recieving yards (861) and touchdowns (10). John was also selected by the Calgary Stampeders in the 3rd round (21st pick) of the Canadian Football League draft.
