SFUW Developmental Residency Program

The new SFUW Developmental Residency Program invites visiting Canadian artists to explore new methods of expression. Our artists in residence engage with SFU to incubate work that demonstrates artistic excellence and research.

This collision of creativity encourages boundary-breaking work that pushes the intersections between technology, theatre, dance, new media, film, poetry, music and visual art.

The SFUW Developmental Residency Program also supports mentorships, internships and exchange with SFU’s Faculty of Communication, Art and Technology, furthering our commitment to cutting-edge development and innovation

Artists and companies in residence at Goldcorp Centre for the Arts have included Bard on the Beach, Kidd Pivot, Ex Machina, Plastic Orchid Factory, and Action at a Distance.
