From Feb. 4-14th, 2016, Visions Ouest will screen 50 short, medium and feature-length films, including fiction, documentaries, special programs with invited guests to mark Family Day, Black History Month, Trophées francophones & Tournée des Rendez-vous du cinéma (Mtl).

The RendezVous French Film Festival provides an opportunity for the British Columbia community to enjoy a rare slice of the award winning global Francophone film industry. An event not to miss!

All films are presented in their original language with English subtitles unless otherwise indicated.

The vision:

To provide the French-speaking and the Francophile communities of British Columbia with artistic, cultural and educative programs and services recognized for their quality and their innovative aspect and to contribute to the blooming of the Francophone community.

The mission:

VOP is committed to offer artistic, cultural and educative programs and services that help to create a strong cultural identity for the Francophone and Francophile British Columbians. VOP is also committed to participate actively in the development of the French-Speaking community.

Francophones and francophiles are invited to participate to the major French language Film Festival in Western Canada as to celebrate Canadian productions of quality and discover the talent of their artists and craftsmen. The Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois et francophone is an important event in the cultural landscape as a main Festival as it helps to promote cultural diversity across Canada.

General admission : $10 / $5.00 students (with valid card). Tickets available at the door or online at www.rendez-vousvancouver.com

There is a mandatory $3 Membership. This is a one time purchase per Festival year and your membership card must be presented at the door to attend Festival events.
