About Goldcorp Centre For The Performing Arts
In September 2010, SFU's School for the Contemporary Arts (SCA) relocated their unique dance, film, music, visual arts, and theatre training programs to stunning new cultural facilities within the redeveloped Woodward’s complex. SFU's School for the Contemporary Arts and SFU Woodward's Cultural Programs can now be found in the Goldcorp Centre for the Arts at 149 West Hastings Street in downtown Vancouver.
Simon Fraser University’s Goldcorp Centre for the Arts is a 120,000 square-foot, multi-venue arts and culture space that houses five public venues, including a state-of-the-art 350 seat cinema, a unique theatre which can accommodate flexible staging configurations, a small concert hall, and two smaller black box theatres.
Simon Fraser University’s Goldcorp Centre for the Arts is an ideal facility for cultural and intellectual programming and conferences.
