Psychoacoustics

In each audio example, you will hear four pairs of tones around 1 kHz. For each pair, the second one will be either higher or lower than the first one; that is, the tones will seem to go up in pitch or down, but never stay the same.
Your answer will be a set of four responses of either Up or Down, such as "Up Up Down Up".
You may listen to each example more than once. In each group the frequency difference will get smaller, and so the tests become more difficult. You might want to try listening with your eyes closed, particularly with the more difficult ones.
They start with a 1% difference in frequency (10 Hz), and proceed to a .1% difference (1 Hz).
