A

1. [4:00 min]

Interview with Bruce Davis. The discussion is about the sounds the saw makes. There are two men who try to talk over each other.

2. [2:00 min]

The recordist is showing how the tape deck works. One man comments on how he never used ear protection devices and how he wears hearing aids.

3. There is an engine hum and steam releases at regular intervals. The discussion is of sirens in the mill, but none are heard.

12:00 levels drop.

*16:00 shift whistle blasts. The levels are increased again. The recordist lowers one channel because it is drowning out the voices.

B

[6:30 min]

Daniel and Pine: There is some hammering in the beginning then there is a group of children playing soccer. This is in a reverberant space. Sounds nice but odd.
