Spatialization:

Each track is rotated (CW or CCW) with the automated diffusion control offered in the ABControl software for the AudioBox, to a sequence of output channels at a rapid pace (100, 150 or 200 ms per step), with no cross-fade. The sequence of output channels is organized such that each will contain a unique sequence of the 8 tracks of input material with no duplications, i.e. each of the 8 inputs is present in a different output channel at any moment. The rotations advance by either one speaker (45 degrees) or by three speakers (135 degrees). In the latter case, the pattern of output channels is as follows:
