In 1980,
Barry Truax was invited by the International Festival of
Electroacoustic Music in Bourges, France, to mount a retrospective
exhibition about
the activities of the World Soundscape Project. This exhibit ran during
the 1980 Festival, May 24 to June 8. and consisted of a display of 15
panels (see below), display documents and small posters, plus two sound
programs which played during the afternoons. The exhibit later toured
to some other destinations.
