90-minute work was described by its composers as a piece "in which a
'genealogy of images' of the sea attempts to bring a sense of ocean to
the listener." It features the voices of Phyllis Mailing, Robin Blaser,
Roger Marsden and Stan Persky reading classical and modern literary
texts.
