REEL 65 COMMENTARY
1. Broadband machine sound
1'00" machine sound fades into an interior soundscape with mechanical hits
2. Persistent low-pitched knocking sounds, such as on very large metal containers, long decays
3. Quiet rural ambience with birds, insects, and distant thunder
4. Heavy rain beating on resonant pipes and other objects creating an interesting stochastic, musical rhythm with a sizzling background0'10" thunder, again at 2'10"
5. Urban traffic and passing seaplane, starting mid siren, revving motors and honking
1'25" O Canada Horn, very strong, followed by jackhammer, kids voices (edited?)
6. Howard reading an anti-noise commentary on urban soundscapes with a flute background
