ISG 12th World Conference on Gerontechnology
ISG 2020 took place on Oct 7-9, 2020 virtually. The theme was "Measures to achieve better quality of life and active healthy aging" and the conference addressed the potential power of technology to both enhance quality of life for older people and prevent age-related disabilities through health promotion. Technological solutions can also support independence and meaningful activities, and they can prevent loneliness, boredom and helplessness. The scientific program consisted of 6 keynotes, 13 symposia, 69 oral presentations, 50 posters and 2 roundtables.
Many AGE-WELL researchers and highly qualified personnel (HQP) presented and Jennifer Boger, Assistant Professor Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo and AGE-WELL member, was a keynote.
