Starry Nights @ SFU: Astro Grads!

On this day we hosted our largest group yet, about 100 Grade 9 students from Collingwood Secondary, led by teachers Edel Vo, Shirley Frykberg, Lisa Bremner, Craig Sinclair, and Mike McCutchon. The group gamely participated in a program that we squeezed into a short time, and had many insightful comments about the nature of the celestial sphere, and some principles of optics. The students also made the most of the optics and telescope demonstrations that we held in the south AQ concourse (marvelous pandemonium!).
